Notes: This folk art piece depicts Our Lady of Fatima, who appeared six times in 1917 to three shepherd children at the Cova da Iria, in Fatima, Portugal. Our Lady of Fatima revealed secrets involving Hell, World War I, World War II, and 20th century persecutions of Christians. She urged all to pray the rosary and to wear a scapular.  The folk art portrait depicts Our Lady of Fatima, wearing a crown as Heaven's Queen, and is dressed in white robes signifying Her Immaculate Heart. She has both a rosary and scapular encircling her and a gold-leaf halo surrounding her beautiful, gentle knowing face. Our Lady of Fatima added this prayer to each decade of the rosary. "Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy." - Our Lady of Fatima, July 13, 1917.
